Description
A blend of five specifically selected barrels, distilled in the same season, were used to blend this spirit, resulting in deep, rich, concentrated flavor. After maturing in these barrels for five years, the emerging whiskey is a classic Pre-Prohibition Pennsylvania Bottled in Bond.
The spirit presents with sweet grain, cut grass, minty herbs and vanilla caramel. Rich balance through the entire mouth. Very low heat for 100 proof. Black and white pepper on the tip, dry cinnamon center and malt edges. Graham cracker, mint and mild orchard fruit dissolves to dark cocoa powder, black cherry and a long, smooth, oily finish.
