90 points Neal Martin (Vinous): “The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village is a blend of Aux Réas (the largest part), La Croix Blanche, Les Jacquines, Les Chalandins, Les Batteaux and Aux Communes, blended with 30% whole bunches. I tasted the component parts and then the final blend. It has pleasant red currant and cranberry fruit on the nose, plus just a touch of sous-bois. The palate is nicely structured with supple tannins, maybe just missing a little complexity but with a gentle grip on the spicy finish. Fine. Drink: 2019-2025. (Jan 2019)”
