The wine is as bright as its color, its ripe raspberry fruit delivered on a velvety texture. For all its sweetness, it’s balanced, with sheer, firm tannins and a dancing acidity lifting it into weightlessness. A hint of alcohol adds a white-pepper spice, but otherwise it delivers its power with grace and a sense of fun—it’s a seriously good wine that doesn’t feel like it takes itself too seriously.
