Dense purple, a very lively colour after the previous two wines. 70% new wood. Impressive density here, a little bit of the tartare style wood, then a good fresh grip to it, plenty of character for Clos Vougeot. Finishes on dry tannins, a bit from the oak. (Nov 2018)”
