This one comes from their 150-acre estate in La Londe Les Maures, the vines nearly reaching the Mediterranean Sea. A blend of 63 percent grenache and 20 percent cinsault, with syrah and a small amount of vermentino, the wine is richer than its pale color suggests, with notes of Brazil nuts as well as orange, peach, apricot and cherry. And yet it remains refreshing, with a saline acidity keeping the wine sleek and restrained. (Aug 2021)”

Producer notes: “69% Grenache, 24% Cinsault, 5% Rolle, 2% Syrah. The 2020 vintage reveals a bright, crystal-clear salmon hue and an assertive character. The rich, fresh and fruity nose expresses aromas of melon and peach interspersed with subtle hints of strawberry. On entry, the wine is fresh and invigorating, buoyed by notes of lemon peel and zesty exotic fruit and accompanied by a full-bodied saline palate. The finish, crunchy like summer fruit, lingers with lovely light notes leaving an impression of succulence.”
