93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): “The 2000 Single Harvest Boal from Henriques & Henriques is a lovely wine and a notable step up from their fifteen year-old blend in terms of focus and complexity. The bright and classic nose wafts from the glass in a mix of cherries, cloves, a touch of brown sugar, orange peel and a touch of rancio in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and very racy in profile, with a great core of fruit, fine focus and grip and a very long, impressively transparent finish.
