92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): “The 2019 Mâcon-Pierreclos 1er Jus de Chavigne has turned out brilliantly, mingling notions of green pear and orange oil with hints of wheat toast and honeycomb. Medium to full-bodied, immensely concentrated and incisive, it’s textural but tensile, with a terrifically long, searingly mineral finish. I tasted this cuvée as two separate components, followed by a putative final blend, and I have no doubt that the finished cuvée will be even better from bottle. (Jan 2021)”
