The nose is savory with aromas of damson plums, dried herbs and tobacco leaf. The palate is full-bodied with firm tannins and bright acidity, giving notes of blackcurrants, cedar and lead pencil shavings. A bold wine that will soften with time. Drinkable now, but best from 2028.
