94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): “This is produced from a 0.16ha organically-farmed parcel of 60-year-old vines that Leroux has purchased with investors near the southern end of the appellation. The whole clusters are pressed and fermented on native yeasts in cask (15% new). There is a remarkable purity of fruit here and a subtle nature that takes time to fully develop. The wine has a ripe pear fruit character, plus hints of white flowers and spice. The elegance and finesse continue to echo on the lingering finish. Drinking Window: 2026-2039. (Oct 2020)”
