90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): “The 2019 Bourgogne Aligoté Charmes Aux Prêtres looks to be more understated and stricter on the nose compared to Pataille’s other cuvées. More mineralité shines through here. The palate is well balanced with pineapple and nectarine, good weight in the mouth with a tang of stem ginger on the finish. This is another superb Aligoté from Sylvain Pataille. Drink: 2022-2032 (Dec 2020)”

91 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): “From the limestone slopes just west of the village, these 70-year-old, organic-certified vines produced a lush, heady wine, with aromas of ripe apricots, flowers and herbs, with a mineral edge. ‘Outstanding/Top value,’ Allen Meadows (Burghound): “This is also decidedly restrained and offers only glimpses of the spiced citrus peel and green apple aromas. The rich, full-bodied and intense medium weight flavors are at once caressing yet powerful on the impressively long and saline-suffused finish. This too is very good for its level. Drink: 2023+.
