WHWC Staff Notes: “Bright red fruit aromas are complemented by slight hints of forest floor and mushrooms. This is a racy, elegant, high-toned gem. The palate displays very fine grained tannins, along with vibrant acidity. It treads a fine line towards a village Chambolle profile, but quickly veers back squarely into the cool climate, California character that we’ve all come to know and love from this wine. Once again, it’s going to be a crowd favorite.”

Rita Hills boasts a big, complex, slightly feral bouquet of roasted herbs, toasted nuts, game, and spiced red and black fruits. This soft, forward, undeniably delicious Pinot Noir has plenty of fruit and texture, good mid-palate depth, and a great finish.”
