These 2010s represent a significant qualitative increase on the already quite good 2009s; in Chambolle and Morey, Pousse d’Or has now moved into the top division, a very competitive league. Unfortunately, production here is 30-40% below that of a normal year. The Chambolle is dusty, earthy and truffly in the nose with violets. The mouth is elegant with a lacy texture and violet flavors.
