Description
97 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): “The 2003 Oberhäuser Brücke Trockenbeerenauslese is a great wine that offers up all of the dizzying opulence of the vintage, coupled with fine acids and rather dramatic elegance and lightness of step that had to be extremely difficult to attain in this vintage. The bouquet is a complex and exotic blend of caramelized apricots, guava, new leather, honey, tea leaves and a lovely base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is medium-full, long and honeyed, with a great core of orangey fruit, superb focus and purity and excellent focus on the very long, crisp finish. This is a real high wire act that is pulled off to perfection. 2010-2050. (Sep/Oct 2010)”
