Not yet reviewed; 2019 vintage rated 93 points by Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): “Sourced from the terraced grand cru Schlossberg site, the 2019 Spätburgunder Klingenberger is enormously spicy and fresh on its rather coolish and slightly toasty nose that represents a bit more oak than the Bürgstadter. Silky, fresh and very elegant on the palate, this is a dense, sweet, licorice-flavored little Schlossberg with a long, sweet, lush and intense finish. An impressive wine for lower budgets. 13% alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in October 2021. Drink: 2021-2036.”
