Based in the heart of Fleurie, Anne-Sophies wines epitomize delicacy and finesse, with a style and approach aligned with the Gamay grown in the area. Having learned winemaking in Volnay, she draws from her experience there to achieve beautiful expressions of Gamay; full of depth and aromatic complexity without over-extracting and drawing out harsh tannins and phenolics. In addition to Beaujolais blanc, Anne-Sophie produces three expressions of Gamay, the most accessible wine being the Paso Doublé Gamay which is labeled as a Bourgogne and meant to be consumed young. From young vines planted in the Fleurie AOC. Soils are highly granitic. Traditional vinification in cuve at low temperatures and using native yeasts.”
