Producer notes: “Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot provide the backbone for this lovely blend. Malbec brings color, red fruit characters and a hint of floral. Merlot adds a lively spice and herbal character with Cabernet Franc offering finesse and a peppery perfume. Aromas of lush, summer blackberries, brambly cassis, complemented by white pepper, clove, and baking spices are framed by sweet vanilla oak. Juicy, ripe, black cherry and blackberry flavors excite the palate, and the wine finishes long, wrapped in cedar, cinnamon, and clove.”
