Description
90 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): “The ‘regular’ bottling of Savigny villages is equally fine in 2018 from Hugues Pavelot, and will be a bit longer-lived as well. The bouquet is deep, pure and sappy, offering up scents of black cherries, black raspberries, pigeon, stony soil tones and a hint of young Savigny fruitcake as a topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, ripe and broad shouldered, with a good core of black fruit, ripe tannins and good focus and mineral undertow on the long finish. Good juice. 2025-2050. (Nov/Dec 2018)”
