On the palate, this is a piquant, fresh and grippy Auslese with racy acidity that cuts the sweetness and pairs with the mineral backbone of this refined and frisky Auslese. The wine is subtly zesty and gorgeously creamy on the palate. The sense of focus and precision are that of the finest bottles of Auslese from the braune Kupp, with this unique blend of aniseed herbs, almond cream, and subtly honeyed elements. The wine finishes in crescendo as a superbly ripe acidity adds yet another layer of complexity in the already stunning aftertaste.
