Description
92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): “The 2020 Morgon Les Charmes comes from Burgaud’s hectare of vines and was bottled in mid-May. Quite deep and initially broody on the nose, it opens to reveal black plum, crushed strawberry, blood orange and light granite aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy and generous, so much so that it belies that backbone on the finish. This might close down after a year or so; otherwise, cellar it for 2–3 years before acquainting yourself with its charms (no pun intended). Drink: 2023-2042. (Aug 2021)”
