Opaque purple, this is a big, deep, concentrated and powerful, virile style of Cabernet Sauvignon with loads of blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, incense, crushed/powdered rock minerality, forest floor and licorice. There is plenty of tannin – the wine powerful, muscular and best cellared for another 4-5 years and aged over the following 3-4 decades. Drink: 2020-2061. (Dec 2016)”
