90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): “From 60 year old vines. I am told that there are balls of iron oxide with magnesium in this vineyard. One third whole bunch and one third new wood. Quite a rich purple and the nose is striking too, with heady dark raspberry fruit, some spice behind rather than pepper, good density and structure for a village wine. (Oct 2020)”

‘Outstanding/Top value,’ Allen Meadows (Burghound): “(66% whole clusters). An attractively layered nose features notes of warm earth and the sauvage that add nuance to the mostly red and dark currant scents. The relatively sleek and delicious middle weight flavors are not especially dense but I very much like the complexity and refreshing salinity displayed by the lingering finale. This is a lovely moderately structured Nuits villages that is worth considering. Drink: 2027+. (Jun 2021)”
