Description

92+ points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): “The 2009 Beaune Toussaints is one of the sexiest, juiciest of these 2009s from Morot. Freshly cut flowers, raspberries, spices and licorice jump from the glass. The Toussaints boasts striking inner perfume and fabulous balance. With a little air the wine can be enjoyed today, but it would be a shame not to give this another 1-2 years in bottle to shed some of its tannins. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. (Apr 2012)”

92 points Wine Spectator: “The essence of cherry, this red is lush and smooth, with spice notes and a savory element adding interest. Offers energy and finesse, with a solid base of tannins on the finish. Best from 2015 through 2028. 25 cases imported. (6/15/12)”

91 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): “A beguiling and beautifully complex nose features black berry and red currant liqueur merges into rich, generous and opulent flavors that possess a touch of finishing asperity that presently offsets the mid-palate sweetness. There is excellent concentration and a high level of phenolic maturity to the structural elements and that should also amply reward mid-term cellaring. Drink: 2021+. (Apr 2012)”
