The vineyards soils are composed of red ferruginous shales covering of clay. Grapes are harvested at maturity, avoiding over ripe qualities. The grapes are then destemmed and fermented in concrete or stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts from 2 to 3 weeks in order to allow the tannins extraction that provides a good ageing potential to the wine. The wine is entirely aged in concrete or stainless steel tanks and it is bottled 12 months later. The wines color is brilliant, dark ruby. On the nose deep black fruits and pepper aromas. The palate supple and greedy with silky and elegant fine tannins. It pairs will with any kind of meat.
