Such a beautifully aromatic nose, floral and perfumed, has the best aspects that great Pinot Noir offers – flowers, red fruit and soft, savoury elements. You just want to keep smelling it with intense notes of crushed violets and roses, black pepper and blackcurrant. On the palate it has a lovely gripping texture, just wraps around the mouth and tongue, soft but textured. A lovely warm grilled cedar and black cherry taste comes in on the mid palate and leaves a lingering sweet fruit flavour on the tongue alongside hints of spice and minerality giving depth and roundness. Exceptional length. Full of life now but has a long future ahead.

Regularly described as being the grape varietal responsible for producing the world’s most romantic wines, Pinot Noir has long been associated with elegance and a broad range of flavors The name means ‘black pine’ in French, and this is due to the fact that the fruit of this particular varietal is especially dark in color, and hangs in a conical shape, like that of a pine cone.
