Dry hot summers in valbuena del duero contribute to the ripe concentrated tempranillo selection bodegas lleiroso uses in its reserva bottling. The wine is aged for 15 months in french oak and another 2 year in the bottle to help accentuate balsamic and coffee notes enveloped by ripe red fruits while softening the refined tannins. We scored it 94 points!
