Description
The wine is raised in fifty percent new oak, but only for three months, before the wine is racked out of the new casks. The wine’s aromatic constellation this year is beautiful, offering up scents of pear, apple, almond, a touch of passion fruit, chalky soil tones and a very gentle framing of buttery oak. On the palate the wine is vibrant, full-bodied, focused and youthfully complex, with a superb core of fruit, fine soil signature, a lovely spine of acidity and a long, impeccably balanced and bouncy finish. This is excellent pouilly-fuissé!
