Description

This inviting chardonnay delivers a wonderful balance of richness and lively acidity. It offers fresh notes of citrus and grapefruit rind with a pleasant creaminess and hints of pineapple. The wine’s complexity is heightened by the use of lees stirring which contributes yeastiness and viscosity. The 2022 Nine Hats Chardonnay was sourced from the Yakima Valley’s French Creek and Boushey vineyards. The blend of these two sites combines the rich texture to the balanced bright acidity of the cooler site. This wine was fermented in French oak barrels, concrete eggs and stainless steel for added layers and aged for 9 months on the lees.
