The world’s first triple sec made according to the exact specifications of a proprietary recipe created in Saumur, France, in 1834 by Jean-Baptiste Combier and his wife Josephine. Over the years, many have attempted to imitate the authentic taste using synthetic flavoring, shortcuts in production and distillation processes or alterations in alcohol content — all to no avail.
