Powerful and tannic to the core, the 2011 Thorevilos is the most backward of the Abreu 2011s. What else is new? Time in the glass releases a mesmerizing array of dark fruit, graphite, crushed rocks, menthol, new saddle leather, blood orange and dried herbs. I would give the 2011 another few years in bottle, as the tannins could still use a bit of time to soften.
