Description
Not yet reviewed; 2018 vintage rated 93 points by Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate): “The 2018 Dundee Hills Chardonnay is wonderfully inviting and hedonistic! It has a perfume of spiced apples and quince, hazelnuts and beeswax, with wafts of floral perfume. The palate is broad, creamy and loaded with honeyed fruits, with juicy freshness to help carry the long, powerfully fruited finish. Drink: 2020-2025.”
Jim Arterberry Maresh, a third-generation Dundee Hills grower, delivers a sophisticated, Chablis-style Chardonnay with tremendous complexity and nuanced flavors. Highly expressive with a perfumed nose of fresh pear, lemon, tarragon, and floral nuances. The wine is vivacious showing depth as it opens up. One will be enthralled over the mineral-tinged Meyer lemon, pear nectar, white peach, and honeysuckle on the mid-palate. The floral and mineral theme keeps driving on the long, finely etched finish.
