Aubert Chardonnay Sonoma Coast UV-SL Vineyard 2015

Producer notes: “The 2015 UV-SL Vineyard Chardonnay showcases its cool coastal origin, but with Aubert flare. Please note the greenish hue on the edge of the glass, which is indicative of the health of the wine. Sense of place is displayed in the wine’s flinty mineral, apple blossom and sweet herb aroma. A botanical impression is present in the mouth as well with lemon thyme, finger lime and green tea oil. More classic flavors of baked apple and marzipan are carried by laser-like acidity. Tightly wound, the 2015 UV-SL will take a couple years to relax and then drink superbly well for a decade or more. The wine is slightly hazy showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking.”
