92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: “Dense purple with a deep succulent dark raspberry fruit, quite thickly textured. 15% whole bunch fermentation, there was no room for more, but that is enough to give a real lift, raspberry and strawberry much fresher on the plate and stretches out brilliantly for a really persistent finish. Tasted: November 2019.”

It has a tight but focused bouquet that takes time to unfurl, eventually offering a mixture of red and blue fruit plus just a touch of potpourri. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, grainy tannins, good density on the midpalate and an engaging, fleshy but delineated, peppery finish. Very fine. Drink: 2022-2036. (Jan 2020)”
