Bluebird Distilling Single Malt Whiskey

Description

This whiskey stems from the love for traditional single malts and American whiskey. We mash and distill from a blend of pale and caramelized malts, then the spirit is placed into new charred American oak barrels, the staves of which first conditioned for 18 months in fresh air, wind, rain and run to mellow any unwanted tannins. The flavorful malt combines with the sweetness of the new oak releasing notes of dark fruit, nuts and honey upfront, ending with sweet toffee, marshmallow and vanilla.
