Not yet reviewed; 2018 vintage rated 91 points by Decanter: “Fermented with wild yeasts and matured for 12 months in clay amphorae, then a further 12 months in bottle, this wine has a spiced plum and wild hedgerow aroma with some rich black cherry notes. In the mouth it has a delicious granular texture with ripe spiced red and black fruits and a touch of creaminess. The soft fruit has good concentration and finishes bone dry, balanced nicely by the fresh acidity. There’s a tangy raspberry and pomegranate character on the finish. An intriguing take on Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, try this with feathered game. Alcohol 13.0%.”
