93-94 points Steen Öhman (Winehog): “The Pommard Rugiens 2016 is another succes. It’s made from the lower part of Rugiens — that is normally regarded as the best part of Rugiens. The bouquet is slightly closed — but the cool fruit of the vintage really adds some freshness and vibrant feel to this wine. It offers a tremendous mid-palate fruit — cool red and dark fruit — lovely pomegranate notes — still a slight hint from the malolactic fermentation — yet otherwise showing well. A beautiful Pommard Rugiens in the making — love the refined juicyness of this wine. Drink from 2032. Very Fine. (9/9/17)”
