Description
92 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): “From the Vosne-Romanée side of Nuits, this 0.73ha parcel was part of the acquisition from Thomas-Moillard in 2005. As chef de cave, Brian Sieve opines: ‘This is a linear Nuits-St-George, not a strength Nuits-St-George.’ The wine has bright, slightly earthy dark fruit, firm tannins and great elegance on the persistent finish. Two thirds of the fruit is fermented as whole cluster. Drink: 2024-2039. (Oct 2020)”
91-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): “40% whole bunch vinification, and 40% new wood. Medium density of purple, with attractive dark fruit, more spice, extra weight of fruit behind, some liquorice notes. (Oct 2020)”
