Description
The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet of rose petal, red cherry and strawberry. The palate is very well balanced, with wonderful Pinoté, but just needs a few more months to absorb the new oak on the finish. Not bad, though not the strongest of Bruno Clair’s offerings this year.

Pinot Noir

However, the quality of the fruit has ensured that wineries and vintners have persevered with the varietal, and new technologies and methods have overcome many of the problems it presents. Alongside this, the wide popularity and enthusiasm for this grape has ensured it will remain a firm favorite amongst wine drinkers for many years to come.
