Description
One of Chablis most famous and largest premier crus. Fourchame contains four other premier cru vineyards within its boundaries — from north to south they are L’Homme Mort, Vaupulent, Côte de Fontenay and Vaulorent. The soils in Fourchame are like those of the Grand Cru vineyards composed of the same chalky, limestone rich Kimmeridgian soils. This results in rounded lemon flavors fresh in minerality with a unique voluptuous quality.
