Producer notes: “[$31 list] Instead of the usual grassy/lemony sipper, Cuvée Renee offers a riot of guava, passionfruit, lemongrass and pink grapefruit. A hair more precise than previous iterations, there’s a lovely viscosity on the palate and the finish is long, fresh and succulent. Cuvée Renee really shines when paired with food and it handles traditionally tough-to-pair boldly flavored dishes such as Thai, Indian or those inspired by our neighbors in the Southern hemisphere. Perfect on its own by the pool or at the table, and on an entirely different level than your standard Sauvignon Blanc. 507 cases produced. Alcohol 14.3%.”
