94 points Andy Howard, MW (Decanter): “All of Fevre’s Fourchaume holdings lie within the Vaulorent sector, facing south and south-west. Fourchaume is a 1er Cru combining power, ripeness and acidity, with the aspect of Fevre’s parcels adding extra warmth and richness to this firmly structured 2017. Partial barrel-fermentation adds weight and complexity to the palate, before 13-14 months ageing in tank. Around 50% of the blend was matured in oak barrels. An impressive Fourchaume, this displays intriguing fine-grained tannins and a hint of honey on the finish. Drinking Window: 2021-2027. (Feb 2020)”
