Description
89-91 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): “(from vines averaging about 16 years of age; aging in used 600-liter barrels): Bright medium yellow. Aromas of pungent citrus zest and smoky flint are lifted by a floral topnote. Savory and densely packed; a bit rounder in style than the Monthélie but without quite that wine’s mid-palate cut. Still, this pure, substantial wine is energized by sound acidity and salty minerality and finishes with excellent lemony lift. (Sep 2018)”
