On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, with a deep and concentrated core of fruit, framed by racy acids and powdery tannins. The finish is long and penetrating. Unusually approachable for a Gaunoux Renardes, this is nonetheless constructed for a long and rewarding life. Drink: 2025-2045. (Jan 2020)”

The delicious, intense and rich medium weight plus flavors exude evident minerality on the beautifully well-delineated, muscular and impressively long finale.
