Description
Glengoyne is a distillery like no other. Taking its name from the glen in which it sits. – ‘Glen Guin’ or ‘Glen of the Wild Geese’ – it is hghly regarded as Scotland’s most beautiful distillery. Residing close to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park – nestled into Dumgoyne Hill.
THE GLENGOYNE WAY:
Unpeated: We always dry our barley by air – never peat
Patience: The slowest stills in Scotland
Oak casks: Our sherry casks are rare and expensive
Natural colour: We choose the harder path
Maturation: Each Glengoyne cask is handled with meticulous care
Tradition: Our progress is mesured not in years or decades – but in centuries
