The 2022 Gentil Hugel blends 35% Gewürztraminer with all the other famous white wine varieties of Alsace, including Sylvaner, which gives this wine a beautifully aromatic and spicy as well as fresh and even slightly mineral bouquet. Round and fruity but also fresh and grippy on the palate, this is a highly stimulating and well-structured, dry yet fruity Alsace classic for countless occasions. 13.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024.
