On the palate, this is a vibrantly fresh, stimulatingly saline and grippy dry Riesling with intense fruit and a texture that is not as lush as the corresponding Rieslings from Hochheim. The Rüdesheim Rieslings are precise, crystalline and fresh and always biting a bit, especially the Berg Rottland, which is a lower site of the steep Rüdesheimer Berg.
