60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented in temperature controlled stainless-steel tanks and aged 12 months in all French oak barrels (33% new). Best Lalande Borie I have yet tasted. Red-purple color with well-formed legs; dry medium bodied with freshly balanced acidity and medium phenolics. Supple almost rich with riper red fruit. Notes of gravel and a hint of tobacco leaf.
