Gravonia hails from a vineyard with lots of gravel, which is perfect for Viura, according to Mercedes López de Heredia. 2013 was a tricky year for reds but produced some fantastic whites, such as this subtle, waxy, bready number which teeters on the edge of oxidation but remains fresh, intense and nutty. Delicious now but will keep for a while yet. 2022-27. (2022)”
