The 2017 Langhe Nebbiolo opens to a light garnet color that reflects the heat of the vintage (the Nebbiolo grape tends to produce a pale color as those temperatures increase), but the wine’s appearance is due to darken and gain in color saturation as the wine spends a little more time in bottle.
