The wine delivers an aromatic constellation of red and black cherries, raspberries, a touch of red currant, pigeon, stony soil tones and a potpourri of Savigny spices in the upper register. On the palate the wine is pure, full and nicely soil-driven, with a very deep core of fruit, ripe tannins and a long, tangy and nicely balanced finish. This is a very fine premier cru in the making. 2028-2065. (Nov/Dec 2019)”
