An attractive salmon/pink hue, the 2023 Trousseau Gris Fanucchi-Wood Road is from vines planted in the 1970s and 1980s and was raised in concrete. Fresh with notes of watermelon rind, white grapefruit, chive, and fresh flowers, it’s great on the palate, with snappy lift, a stony texture, and good length. It’s going to show its best over the next 2-3 years.
